After all the planning and negotiations it was fantastic to go on the tube in the morning and see the ‘Freeze Frame’ image everywhere. Alan, the editor at the Metro suggested it might even be the single biggest distribution of an artwork with a print run of 3 million. From the very beginning I felt that the work really needed to be seen as a newspaper image and as a billboard, in keeping I think with the spirit and ethos of the Seurat painting itself.
So enjoyed seeing it across the city.
